​In this Jubilee Year and during the Season of Creation, local high school youth invite you to join them as Pilgrims of Hope for Creation — a prayerful, peaceful pilgrimage in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, the beloved patron saint of our city. ️ Feast of St. Francis Weekend – Saturday, October 4 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Pilgrimage begins at Blue Heron Lake Boathouse (50 Blue Heron Lake Drive) ⛪ Ends at St. Ignatius Parish (650 Parker Ave) Final gathering and BYO Picnic on the Welch Field, next to St. Ignatius Parish This event is co-sponsored by the University of San Francisco, St. Ignatius Parish, St. Ignatius College Preparatory, and Bishop O’Dowd High School. The pilgrimage is youth-led, but all are warmly welcome — elders, families, students, and all generations are invited to walk together in solidarity, reflection, and hope for our common home.
