We’re so excited to walk with your family as your child prepares to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time and encounter Him in the healing sacrament of Reconciliation!
Our First Communion preparation is for baptized children in Grades 1 and 2. It is a two-year journey of growing in faith, learning about the Mass, and developing a personal relationship with Jesus.
Children are introduced to the basics of our Catholic faith—learning about God’s love, prayer, and the life of Jesus.
Children continue their faith journey with a focus on the sacraments of:
First Reconciliation (Confession)
First Holy Communion
Mass: Families attend the 10:00 AM Mass together
Class Time: Children meet after Mass (11:00–12:00 PM) in the Good Shepherd classroom
Weekly Attendance is expected
Here is our 2025–2026 CFF calendar, which includes dates for:
Parent Orientation
First Reconciliation (Spring)
First Communion Mass (Spring)
Retreats and Special Events
