Youth Confirmation

• Attend Confirmation Orientation (Sunday, September 7, 2025) 
• Attend at least 12 sessions (5 pm Sunday Mass & 6:15 pm Confirmation Class, see the calendar for dates.) 
• Complete 10 Service Hours and fill out the SERVICE HOURS PAPER FORM. Print this and have your student bring it with them to be signed at service opportunities or get a copy from Rosie Costa.
• Write a reflection and email it to Rosie Costa [email protected] (from a parent or guardian's email address if necessary). Reflect in writing on your service experience by answering the following two questions 1) What service did you participate in? 2) How did this service help you grow as a disciple of Christ? (250-300 words.)
• Prayerfully choose a sponsor and give them a) this guide and b) this form. The form (printed or emailed) needs to be signed by the sponsor and their pastor and returned to Rosie Costa. Here is the SPONSOR GUIDE and here is the SPONSORSHIP FORM.

• Attend Confirmation Year 2 Retreat (March 7, 2026)

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year journey. This process typically begins in 7th grade; however, there is flexibility, so we encourage students to journey at their own pace. Our hope and desire for our students is to encounter Jesus and learn more about their faith and the Church’s teachings. We can't wait to journey with your student!

Confirmation Years One & Two meet in USF Kalmanovitz Hall on Sunday evenings following the 5 pm Mass from 6:15 to 7:15 pm. Class attendance includes participation at the 5 pm Mass.
