Children's Faith Formation and Youth Confirmation

CFF First Communion (Grades 1 - 2)

In this program, children prepare to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time and encounter him in the healing Sacrament of Reconciliation. Learn more about CFF First Communion (Grades 1 - 2).

CFF Faith Basics (Grades 3 - 6) 

This program runs from September to May, and we meet every Sunday. CFF Faith Basics gives students a hands-on experience to develop a love and knowledge of God’s Word and his church. Learn more about CFF Faith Basics (Grades 3 - 6) 

Youth Confirmation (Grades 7 - 8+) 

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year journey. This process typically begins in 7th grade; however, there is flexibility, so we encourage students to journey at their own pace. Learn more about Youth Confirmation (Grades 7 - 8+).

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is a ministry that brings the Gospel message to children and families in their own words. Children (ages Pre-K through Grade 4) meet with two adult leaders during the Liturgy of the Word at the 10 am Mass on most Sundays. Please see the 1st Communion & CFF Calendar below for CLOW dates.

Core Principles

Love God‍ - Using the Loyola Press Finding God curriculum, our classes engage students' hearts, minds, and souls as they come to grow in a relationship with God.  

Serve others‍ - Integrating Catholic teaching into daily life means living as disciples who seek to serve. Families will have the opportunity to participate in service throughout the year.‍  

Be yourself‍ - Children will be given the tools for prayer to uncover who they are called to be as a child of God.

Children’s Faith Formation is for children between the ages of 6 and 15 who would like to learn more about their Catholic faith and/or prepare for their sacraments. Volunteer catechists accompany our youth during preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
