My family and I discovered St. Ignatius during the pandemic and have continued to drive in from deep in the East Bay. Our children, who are 7 and 13 years old, attend the religious education program through CFF. Our children are willing to drive all the way from the East Bay in part because they also feel the deep, authentic seeking of God in this community.
One of the most nourishing parts of this parish for me has been the mothers’ group that meets twice a month on Sundays after the 10 am Mass. While my 7-year-old attends CFF, I also have the blessing of meeting with a wonderful group of women who are on a journey of seeking God in all things, including the journey of motherhood. In addition to the Sunday meetings, the group also meets a few times a year for meals and events in the city. The fellowship of the group is warm and welcoming! We share in our faith journey and pray for one another. I am so grateful to the mom who invited me to this group, and I feel blessed to be able to share this warm welcome and invitation with others. Please come and see if this may be nourishing on your journey!
Warmest wishes,
Jennifer Lydon-Lam , parishioner
