Adult Faith Formation Lecture: The Synod and Synodality in a New Era Public Lecture by Vanessa G. Rotondo, Ph.D.

With the passing of Pope Francis and the election of a new pope, the Catholic Church faces a pivotal moment. What direction will the global Catholic community take? How will the vision of synodality—listening, dialogue, and shared leadership—shape our future?

Vanessa G. Rotondo, theologian, scholar, and Deputy Chief of Staff at Fordham University, has taught two university courses on synodality and led Fordham students and staff on two pilgrimages to Rome to witness the process firsthand. She will explore the challenges and opportunities ahead for the Church in this historic time.
