You are invited to the OWLS annual Christmas party: Christmas Potluck and Songbirds! Please bring a potluck contribution and a happy smile. We ask that each person bring a dish for the potluck lunch - main entree, a bottle of wine or other drink, dessert, salad. Then a special treat: The Songbirds will return to serenade us with Christmas and Holiday songs. Come and be Merry. Bring a friend or two! Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) is a thriving ministry as seniors (50+) gather to enjoy each other’s company and participate in a variety of activities that reflect the interests of senior members of our parish. The group meets once a month, on the second Friday of the month.

This Saturday will be our monthly St. Ignatius Parish Bike Ride. As is our tradition, we'll meet at 9:30 behind St. Ignatius Church, roll down through Golden Gate Park and along Ocean Beach to Sloat Blvd, then meander back up together. Participants should be comfortable with an intermediate level ride of about 12 miles round trip including moderate sustained hill-climbing on the return. Your bike should be in good working order. See you out there! We generaly ridde on the first Saturday of the month. New cyclists are welcome!

Has your child expressed interest of being apart of the parish during the Holiday season? Join us for the Christmas pageant held by the parish!

Confirmation students (7th and 8th graders) will fill all Liturgical Ministry roles at this Mass. These special Masses, Youth Masses, happen during seven 5 pm Sunday Masses during the Children's Faith Formation program year, September 2025 to May 2026. People who have been confirmed in previous years, but who are still in high school may fill-in as needed. Everyone is invited to these Masses. A signup form will be available here closer to the program year.

Volunteer! The St. Ignatius Shelter Meal Program fosters community, lifts souls, and nourishes the bodies and spirits of homeless people and volunteers. A shared meal is one of the most fundamental forms of human interaction, and a fine meal, carefully prepared, is an act of love. We create a temporary oasis from the harsh realities of life on the street. In an environment of warmth, hospitality, compassion, and fun, people relax, regain strength, and renew their self-respect and purpose.
