This Saturday will be our monthly St. Ignatius Parish Bike Ride. As is our tradition, we'll meet at 9:30 behind St. Ignatius Church, roll down through Golden Gate Park and along Ocean Beach to Sloat Blvd, then meander back up together. Participants should be comfortable with an intermediate level ride of about 12 miles round trip including moderate sustained hill-climbing on the return. Your bike should be in good working order. See you out there! We generaly ridde on the first Saturday of the month. New cyclists are welcome!

Trying to keep up with all that is happening in the US with migrants, and interested in discussing and learning about the roles we all might be able to play in accompanying them? Then please join the Solidarity Network’s Workshop on Migration following the 10:00 am Mass on June 8 in Fromm Hall’s Xavier Room. Then, participants in the Parish’s Solidarity Network will lead a discussion that is intended for participants to better understand how to view the current administration’s migration policies through a Catholic Social Justice Teaching lens, to appreciate the scope of the impact those policies are having across our and other communities; and to learn how we can use our individual talents to stand in solidarity with migrants.

Join the OWLS for “Condor Talk” with Rick Hills. Rick will give a lecture on Condors and the California Condor Recovery Project. Rick Hills raises funds for wildlife conservation organizations to help them in their important work of saving animals and educating people on the threats and successes impacting wildlife globally. He has served as the Executive Director of the Turtle Survival Alliance, and as Foundation Board Chairman of San Diego Zoo Global.

After presiding at the 10 am Mass Fr. Tom will discuss what’s in store for us as Pope Leo VIV sits on the Chair of St. Peter. What is the significance of the many facets of his identity and how will he lead us in the era after Pope Francis? Join us as Fr. Tom Reese, SJ delivers expert opinion on how this historic event brings the good news of the Gospel to our faith community, both locally and around the world.

Hey everyone! Join us for a fun summer outing with the St. Ignatius Parish Youth Group as we head to Golden Gate Park’s Blue Heron Boathouse for some paddle boat fun and good food! We’ll leave right after the 10:00 a.m. Mass and head straight to the park to hit the water in paddle boats. Afterward, we’ll grab lunch at the boathouse café and return to the parish mid-afternoon. Who’s invited? All high school youth—and feel free to bring along friends and family! RSVP by Thursday, July 10 at 12:00 p.m. This helps us plan, and we are looking for any parents who might be up for being a chaperone.
